The dandelion honey produced in the Apennines is known for its extraordinary organoleptic qualities. Thanks to the favorable climate and rich botanic diversity in the area, dandelion honey is characterized by a delicate and floral aroma, a sweet and persistent flavor and a creamy consistency.
It tends to crystalize quickly, within a few months after its extraction, a perfectly natural process.

This honey is very versatile in the kitchen and can be used to sweeten drinks such as tea and coffee, it can also be used in the preparation of sweets and biscuits and to accompany cheese and salami. Dandelion honey also has medicinal properties thanks to the presence of enzymes, vitamins and minerals it can be used as a natural remedy to sooth a sore throat, improve the digestion and strengthen the immune system. Thanks to the presence of substances such as flavonoids and phenolic acids it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
